Williamsburg Resorts’ COVID-19 Policy - All guests are required to wear face coverings when indoors per Virginia Executive Order 63. The wearing of face coverings outdoors is optional, but recommended. Face coverings will be worn by Colonial Williamsburg staff. Affordably priced face coverings will be available for guests to purchase in all Colonial Williamsburg retail outlets. Capacities for indoor spaces as well as the number of individuals permitted for each location, tour, or event/program will be determined based on physical distancing and group size limit protocols.

Friday, November 13

Arrive in historic Colonial Williamsburg at your leisure. Check-in time is 4pm at both hotels. (Lunch & Dinner are on own,)

All TGC event guests receive complimentary access to the Spotswood Course, Golden Horseshoe GC’s 9-hole short course. A perfect afternoon warm-up for the rounds ahead! Complimentary access is available as part of TGC’s event package throughout your stay. A 5-Club Tournament on the Spotswood Course will be available for those looking for some additional competitive action. Choose your best 5 clubs, choose your tees and let it rip! The only requirement is you exchange scorecards with a fellow competitor to ensure fairness for all. Play as many times as you like Friday, Saturday or Sunday - we’ll take your best GROSS score. Signed scorecards for the 5-Club Tournament must be turned in prior to the start of Monday’s third round on the Gold Course. The winning male and female will each earn a $25 Golden Horseshoe Pro Shop Certificate and a $500 entry discount to TCG’s Hilton Head Pro-Am, February 18-23, 2021.

6-8 PM - Welcome Reception on Golden Horseshoe Clubhouse Terrace overlooking the Gold Course - Join us as we kickoff the event with cocktails and dinner. Mingle with fellow event attendees and enjoy a relaxed evening under the stars. (Included in your trip package) Dress is golf attire / resort casual. Social Distancing Note: This function space is outdoors. A mix of table seating and cocktail rounds will be available. Table seating will be limited to 6 persons max per table.

Saturday, November 14

7-11 AM - Daily Breakfast is served in the TERRACE ROOM at the Williamsburg Inn and the Traditions Restaurant at the Lodge. “To Go” breakfast is also available. (Included in package)

Today we play the Gold Course, the resort’s signature layout.

• Experience the Jones family’s finest design. Recently renovated by “the Open Doctor” Rees Jones, the Gold Course carries the design philosophy of creator Robert Trent Jones Sr. forward for today’s golfer. The Gold Course now features the latest in modern turf grasses, new grass on the fairways, greens, and surrounding roughs, and utilizes “Better Billy Bunker” construction to improve the drainage, look, and playability of bunkers. Tees have been re-leveled, resurfaced, and reimagined, and the expansion of the practice putting green and range gives golfers plenty of opportunity to work on their long and short games.

• The Gold Course is home to four of the BEST par-three holes you’ll ever play. Each of the Gold’s 3-pars presents a visually exciting challenge, and is uniquely memorable in its own right. Even if you’ve played Gold before, you’ll find a few new surprises with the evolution of this timeless classic.

Sunday, November 15

7-11 AM - Daily Breakfast is served in the TERRACE ROOM at the Williamsburg Inn and the Traditions Restaurant at the Lodge. “To Go” breakfast is also available. (Included in package)

Golf today is on the Green Course at the Golden Horseshoe Golf Club. .

• Opened in 1991, Rees Jones drew inspiration from his father Robert Trent Jones Sr.’s iconic Gold Course to create the acclaimed Green Course in Colonial Williamsburg. Carved from the same beautiful parkland terrain, the Green Course is longer than Gold but also more forgiving—creating an entertaining challenge for golfers of every skill level.

9:30 AM - We have consecutive tee times reserved for the group. (Greens and cart fee included in your package)Afternoon is at leisure to enjoy your resort, hit the spa, play nine on the Spotswood course, or further explore Colonial Williamsburg.

6-8 PM - A delicious 3-course, plated dinner and cocktails will be hosted at the Williamsburg Inn. Location TBD. (Included in your trip package) Dress is resort casual. Social Distancing Note: Seating will be assigned at multiple tables, 6 persons per table maximum.

Monday, September 14

Today we tackle the Gold Course again … it’s so good we have to play it twice!!!
